21 Acres hosts many events programs to help in achieving their farm-to-table mission, including “Tuesdays at 21,” where they invite speakers involved in working on improving the environment; “Storybook Farm,” an educational program for elementary age kids that includes providing farming/cooking activities and publishing a set of picture books on gardening; and “Cultivating Cooks,” a five-week course on culinary basics and nutritional education. They also host a variety of other youth summer camps, tours, and presentations.
In addition to these programs, the 21 Acres building is also home to a small farm market, open year-round on Fridays and Saturdays. The farm market is full of beautiful displays of organic and seasonal foods, sourced by a variety of local farms and vendors. Additionally, 21 Acres also sells their own products.
